I really need to get better at this.

I mean, really. It's been a month (..again) since my last post! I need to work on updating this more often! Anyways....what's new..?

Well, I didn't get that paid internship. I was pretty upset about it because I was SURE that I nailed it, but after thinking it over I'm at peace with it. It just wasn't my time and I'm meant to be doing something else at this point in my life...=)

Jason & I got back from Vegas about a week ago..it was a BLAST!!

We had such a good time...we were glad to get home though!

School has been really stressful for me the past month or so. Good news though--Monday is my last day for the semester! I will be out of school for the summer until mid-August. I'm excited to say the least.

Jason and I are going to the beach at Cape San Blas, FL next weekend with my aunt and mom and a few other people. It should be fun!

Okay, well Jason's out of town for the weekend, so I'm going to lay on the sofa with my doggies and watch movies! Hopefully it won't be another month before you hear from me!

Hello stranger...

Soooo...I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks, huh? I've been busy busy! I finished up field experience for this semester on March 13th--so yay for that! Now only a month left of classes and I get my first summer without classes in 3 years! I'm pretty excited about that. =)

Not a lot has been going on around our house--just been enjoying the beautiful weather (except for the past 3 days)! Jason & I have been doing a lot of yard work and getting things done around the house.

Speaking of Jason--today was his 25th birthday! My hubby is getting OLD. Hahah...I threw a surprise party for him on Friday and he was actually surprised! It went great. Happy Birthday, babe!

Sooo, I have some good news! I have a job interview on Thursday!! I'm so excited. It's a paid internship with Coweta County. I get my own classroom, benefits, the whole 9 yards, just make a little less than a regular teacher. There are 11 of us up for the position, and they are hiring 6. So keep your fingers crossed for me! I will find out the week of April 13th whether or not I get it! =)

Another exciting thing--Jason & I leave on April 10th for Vegas! We are super excited. I'm just sad to leave my children (AKA Jake & Chipper) for 3 nights. They will be okay though!

I have been slowly doing more things to decorate the house...I think I finally got the foyer decorated how I want it...what do you think? (and yes, I know the lamp shade was crooked in this pic...I fixed it! lol)

I guess that's about it for now....I will try to update this thing more often!!

An uneventful Saturday...

So today was rather uneventful--and I'm not complaining! It was nice to have some time to myself (Jason...aka the hubby) is having a boys weekend at his dad's cabin in North Carolina. I do miss my husband though!

Speaking of Jason...he is soo sweet--I mentioned that I wanted a new, better camera, and what does he do? Orders me one behind my back!! He did a lot of research to see what the best one to buy was, and ended up getting this one :

It's a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ28S. It is 10.1 megapixel and has a 18x zoom. It should be here on Monday! It supposed to be one of the better cameras out there and had no negative reviews...even from photographers! I guess it's an improvment from my Kodak Easyshare 3x zoom 7 megapixel that I currently have!

Okay, well I just wanted to make a quick post. I'm off to spend the rest of the night on the couch with my babies (Jake & Chipper) watching my fave movie--Sex and the City!! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

So this is blogging....

Hi all! TECHNICALLY this isn't my first blog, because I had to do one for a MEDT class I took, but that was for educational purposes--this, not so much! If you want to know about me, read my about me section! I don't really have too much to post about today--other than the fact that Jason and I are going to Las Vegas! I'm booking the trip as I type! We are staying at the Rio. It looks really nice/cool. We leave on April 10th, and come back on April 13th. I'm pretty excited!

In other news, it snowed! We had so much fun Sunday going up to the highschool and sledding down the hills on painter's plastic! I was sad that it had to end Monday...back to teaching! Here is a picture of our house in the snow!

Speaking of teaching--I have the rest of this week and then Monday-Thursday of next week to teach and then I'm done for this semester! December 12th (graduation day) can't get here any quicker!!!

And oh yeah...I definitly want to go to the Britney Spears concert on Thursday but nobody wants to come with me--sad!!!!!!!
